From the start you were always there,
even when our world was crashing down,
Life wasn’t fair,
but you kissed away my frown,
When we were far apart you stood strong,
The phone calls were never enough,
Days were getting far too long,
Your strength made me tough,
A lot of people didn’t like us together,
they tried many things to break our spirit,
You told me this is forever,
and I knew I would always hear it,
Even when I broke down in tears,
even when we had to struggle with life,
You were there through the fears,
you always had the strife,
So now its my turn to help you when your down,
to kiss away your tears,
I will take away your frown,
and help you through your fears,
Now I say forever,
hope you know it’s true,
