I’m sad today… I feel like I betrayed a friend’s trust in me by acting foolishly… I’ve been so miserable and I don’t know what to do. I don’t know how this friend could ever forgive me. I have so many regrets and I can think about is I wish I could start over from yesterday and act differently today… but I’m afraid that I’ve destroyed any trust that friend may have ever had in me.
This is a good poem… you are right.. trust is key… I just wish I had been worthy of this friend’s trust but I wasn’t.
