The people’s desire
An uncontrollable fire
Eating away at my soul
Erasing everything I used to know
I don’t know who I am anymore
And I give all credit to the burning desire
It’s the desire to live
And he desire to die
The desire to lose everything
The desire to be on top of the world
The desire to ruin myself
The desire to be the best I can be
The desire to get through this
But the want to lay down and die
Before I reach the end of the tunnel
The desire to just give up
The desire to proclaim that I can do it
But the desire to believe it’s a lie
The desire to fight the desire

I felt a real connection with this poem. I can tell by reading your poem that you have been through many obstacles through out your life and have had strong desires that have broken you and made you who you are today. Sorry I wrote so much. Keep writting
