There’s a fresh cool breeze
That blows here and there,
With the greatest of ease,
As spring is in the air!
God’s Heaven open’s up
And pours down the rain,
Out of His golden cup,
Renewing life again!
Turning trees emerald green
Splashing flowers everywhere,
Standing so serene,
In the fresh morning air!
Springtime is everywhere
My favorite time of year,
Bees buzzing here and there,
Then in the flowers disappear.
Exquisitely beautiful flowers
Red yellow and blue,
Awakened by spring showers,
In a splendid hue!
Ravishing petals of lace
God’s wonderful blooms,
For all to embrace,
As they share their perfume!

Wonderful poem Georgie! This is one of my favorite time’s of the year. I have started a vineyard and vegetable garden and I am loving the beauty of plants more so than ever. Your poem is so timely! 5 stars!
Dear Gerogie,
Like Wordsworth’s daffodils
My heart your poet thrills
Rhymes are really superb
With William, shoulders, you rub
