An Unlocked Soul

There are moments when I lie awake in bed. Woundering what paths we would be going down if my words had never been said. Thoughts had run through my mind in the beginning about how I felt about you. Was I infatuated, was it your good looks and charms or was I jsut trying to get in bed with the next guy in line whom I never knew would ever be mine. Then it hits me like a lightning bolt on a stormy night. That fairy tales do come true, and I finally found my knight. It's your heart you see so wholesome and true, that caught my eyes and unlocked my soul. You see I've been blinded by love for so long. I gaven up the search, I locked up my heart and threw away the key. Until you came along and rescued me. You gave me my sight back, the sight of love and compasssion. To you I owe my life to and I just thought you might want to know that I do love you and I'm happy being at your side as your wife.
