Taste of Music

A stage
A young woman
In a long black dress
Slim fingers
And a taste for
Music.

Hesitant,
Brow furrowed
But slowly walking
Towards the gleaming
Piano.

She sits
and stares
At the white, pearly
Keys laid out
Before her.

She places her hands
Delicately
Softly
Lovingly
On the white
And black ladder.

Where does it lead?

To a friends laugh
A loving hug
And a first kiss-
Sweetness equal
To that of
Chocolate.

She pushes down
Lightly on the first rung
And a deep tone
Pierces the dark room.

A smile plays
mischievously on
Her mouth
As she once again
Tastes the
Music.
