My Fear

Can't forget the first time I laid my eyes on you
Happiness overflowed and made me glow
All the fears and worries, they left me so
Love struck me, can't help but let it show.

You became the center of my life
The light that guides my darkest path
My joy, my pride, my little knight
Who helps me go on with the fight.

I maybe far away from you
Feeling sorry, I'm not with you
But in my heart I do love you
Yes my son, I'm missing you.

Time flies so fast... I regret
I missed your birthdays since I left
You were just a baby when we last met
But now you've grown up and at your best.

The only fear I am facing now
Is the time I'm afraid will come
That when I want to hug you tight
You'll tell me, "Mom, I'm grown up now."
