I See...

I see my emotions running deep
Deep to the very core of my soul
I close my eyes but still I see
I see a world out of control.

I see many have lost all morals
And violence that knows no bounds
I close my eyes deep in the night
Only to hear the blood curdling sounds.

I close my eyes but still I see
I see in my dreams
Our children beaten and abused
And I hear their screams.

I see our children with guns
I see them totally overwrought
Shooting down their friends
Without a second thought!

I see my emotions running deep
Deep to the very core of my soul
I close my eyes hoping to see peace on earth
But still I see - I see a world out of control.
