The Indigo River
The indigo river flows,
Whistling, a merry train.
Golden leaves sprawl on it,
Listening to its melodies.
Whistling, a merry train,
On its way to the sleeping ocean,
The indigo river flows;
My heart sings as its goes by.
Sun ray, through the calm sky,
Settles upon its cold surface.
The indigo river flows,
Waving farewell to the busy city.
