Hopeless

Sometimes it feels like the only thing you can do is cry.
But at the same time you sit there and think, he told me he loved me,
and he meant it right?

But why would you want to hurt someone you loved?
So yaa, we all cry over the ones who make us fall for them,
but aren't there to catch us.

But why do we do it?
We do it because in our eyes we see hope, we want there to be hope.
We believe them when they tell us they love us,
we tell everyone that we know they meant it because of the way
they said it.
But was it the way they said it, or was it just the way we wanted
to hear it.
