Will the Fighting Ever End?
Black hole in a broken heart,
Took my innocence and left a scar,
Crossed lines and crashed my world,
Tore my soul in two.
Sitting in on this rainy day,
Watching my tears fall down the window pane.
I hear your voice and start to cry,
Just wishing it was all a lie.
Tears clouding my sight,
A distant rumble in the night,
Excuses suffocate me,
Walk away and leave.
Ignored the signs,
Didn’t read between the lines,
And now I pay,
Memories relived every day.
