Oh my grandpa,
I’m going to miss you much,
I loved you with the softest touch.
I wish I could have known you better,
I should have known,
You wouldn’t be here forever.
Hang in there,
Just a little bit more,
But if you can’t bear,
Then don’t be at war.
Hopefully I will be there soon,
I’ll be your sun,
You can be my moon.
I will be happy,
When you are sad,
To cheer you up,
To make you glad.
Just remember my dear old gramps,
