The way you make me feel is insane
How someone mentions love and I automatically think of your name
How in your arms I feel so safe
How outta them I feel so afraid

How does this happen to someone like me
Someone whose outlook on life has changed so drastically
I've been trying to change for so many years
But have been captured by my many fears

When asked why I love you the list is endless
I tell them your smile your eyes your laugh your poise your voice and how you try to come off fearless
How your helping me change into the person I want to be
How your helping me be a better me

I've never felt this way before in my life
Every day was filled with pain and strife
But when you came into my life it brightened up
I know that being the real me will always be enough

With you I don't have to pretend to be something I'm not
With you I can be the Christina I almost forgot
Your helping me through this chaotic storm
Your by my side in every way shape or form

My gratitude towards you is hard to explain
It's not a bad thing I just don't know the way
For thank-you is just not enough
For you were there when times got rough

You stood by me when everyone else gave up
Even when times for us got tough
No matter how hard I tried to push you away
