I hate to say I’m giving up on you
Oh love Oh love, don’t you wonder why the sky is blue?
well love… it’s all because of you!
Oh love Oh love, you make us cry until we cry no more
you are disappointment knocking on the door
Oh love Oh love, your gift to us is heartache and pain
just a naive and useless game!

I can’t believe I thought you were my friend!
Oh love Oh love, I know I’m not the only one who thought love was true
but you’re only a fantasy that makes us blue.

that true love does exist don’t you see?

so we wait day and day for someone…something so perfect so sweet like sugar on your bare tongue.
Oh love Oh love, though a rose is as beautiful as can be, with petals so red and moist
it must be voiced that within a rose is thorns black as coal there to cut into your tender heart- a warning left untold.
Oh love Oh love, you’re a wasted emotion
Oh love Oh love, I am throwing away my devotion to you

Message from the author: Hey peoples! I wrote this poem about love love like spending the rest of your life with a guy/girl kind of love- not family love or pet love. It’s not my best poem but I think it’s kind of neat. Thank you all for the nice comments… they seriously sometimes make me cry because they are so sweet. God bless all

You are a great writer! You are very expressive and passionate about your subject! Sometimes it seems that the stronger we love someone… the more we will hate them if the let us down or hurt us… but hopefully.. somehow no matter how someone hurts us… we can learn to forgive soemhow. If there was any real love there at all… it should weather the storms and harsh winters of life. But if we cannot some how learn to let people be human in all their flaws and failings knowing we have our own… how can we expect others to love and forgive us when we are less than perfect? There are no perfect people or ideal utopias… only the tragically and frustratingly beautiful thing called life…. its an emotional rollercoaster for sure… but I wouldn’t miss the ride for anything!
