As I lay there on my back my heart starts to race
You look into my eyes and they tell me everything is going to be ok
You kiss me softly and tell me you love
I kiss you back and wonder how this can be
You’re the best thing that has ever happened in my life
Everything we have shared now flashes before my eyes
Everything starts to go dim
I softly whisper I love you
You look at me and smile as a tear races down your sweet face
You knew I was going to a better place
I am now where I can watch over you
I will never leave you heart and I will always love you
One day we will each other again and be together until there is no end
But until that day; remember I am in your heart
