True Friend
There's this girl I've known for years
we've had our shares of laugh and tears,
She's been there to lend a hand
pick me up and make me stand,
She's been able to make my day
even if we were far away,
The things she said to help me out
never gave me a sense of doubt,
In my life there's been a few friends who are true
that have known what I've been through,
None are quite like her
and that's for sure,
She's my Besty and Besttfriendd
Ever since '99 untill the end,
You can try as hard as you please
you may even tease,
But one thing I know that's true
is there's nothing you can do,
No matter what you put us through
we will always show you
You can never tear us apart
we're always in eachothers heart
You mess with her and you will see
just exactly what she means to me
I love her more than words can tell
for she took me out of my shell
I thank her with everything I got
I truly love her alot
If it weren't for her
everything would be a blur
I just want her to know
our friendship will always grow
I truly appreciate everything she's done for me
and now it's her turn to see
I'm here to help no matter what the case
not even the time or place
She can count on me
to set her free, or whatever it may be
I will gladly help her
that's what friends are for
I will always be by her side to show how much I care
and this I swear.
