You save me
From the devil's house of charms,
Surrounded me with your loving arms,
Brought my own house to order,
Help me mend my burnt out spirit,
Broken windows of my soul,
Made me whole
Showed me
No one is forbidden from the unbeaten,
Theirs always going to be a time
When our own words have to be eaten
So I bow before you on hollow knees,
Bare witness with my weak flesh,
Collect my hands
To say thank you Lord
For helping me understand
Even when I can't seem to reach
Your door of understanding
