Outlook On My Life

The bad times are recurring,
My problems keep on stirring.
Through the darkness I can now see,
That happiness that occupied me.
The sunshine sinks behind a large black cloud,
My life is bleak, I'm not feeling proud.
My friends are here and they're so sincere,
When they're around I have nothing to fear.
Trees are swaying in the gentle wind,
I have to confess for I have sinned.
My troubles reach the mountain tops
While my joy sinks down to the ocean rocks.
Jupiter can be seen tonight,
It truly is an amazing sight.
Our solar system is so very vast,
It's as if a magic spell has been cast.
Our planet is a shining jewel,
Glistening like a gem in a pool.
Tropical jungles and golden sands,
It's no wonder us humans walk these lands.
Towering icebergs dominate the Atlantic
While creatures in the sea make men go frantic.
Fields of green or rivers of blue,
I only wish I could share it with you.
I depend on you, I want you back
Otherwise my world will still seem black.
Brightness is now starting to arrive,
I'm suddenly beginning to feel alive.
We'll find each other and reunite soon,
Until then I won't let this loneliness loom.
