Mummy

Mummy.

You gave me the life I am Living
Never asking for anything, always giving

The prettiest women I have ever known
Every day you look new and unworn

Whenever I have felt the earth crumble
I had your hands holding and your comforting mumble

I have done blunders which I concealed
You posses the foresight, to see everything unarticulated

For months I was a pain giving organ of yours
You carried me carefully as if I was a bunch of flowers

I was aloof from all the dangers, sleeping in your womb untouched
You fed me with your life, knowing my presence un hatched

I have always needed you more than I have known
You have always loved me more than you have shown

Miss you mummy, now that I am all on my own.
