Life Lesson
Let me open up your mind,
Just relax and you will find,
There are greater forces at work,
It can make people go berserk.
Come outside, take a stroll with me,
I've got something that I think you should see.
The evening air is so very thick,
Filled with pollution, it makes me feel sick.
I knew a man who recently died,
He never wanted to step outside.
I don't want you to become like him,
Put on weight and avoiding the gym.
The world really is an astonishing place,
Being alive is like we're winning a race.
The trophy is like a ticket to bliss,
With your true love and that first kiss.
It feels like magic or a joyous spell
Or a wish come true from a wishing well.
You can then sit back with your wife,
And both look back upon your life.
A slideshow to the days that you once knew,
Enjoy the journey, it's the best you can do.
Enjoy life like it's a roller coaster ride,
And know that I'll be your spiritual guide.
We can save the planet and the human race,
Let's start by putting a smile on your face.
Some days you may feel very low,
But being alive is like a broadway show.
The audience is everyone and you are the star,
If only for a moment but you could go far.
Escape from the evil and the travesty,
To open the door you must turn the key.
Fill up your soul with happiness and joy,
But don't break your heart like a childhood toy.
I hope I've helped you to get back on your feet,
You were living life like you were tied to a seat.
Victory comes to those who try,
So don't let the world pass you by.
Try to be triumphant in all that you do,
And conquer all your demons, I believe in you.
