Cries Of A Homeless Man

I look for a hand to touch but nobody holds me.
I look for an ear to talk to but nobody knows me.
I sit on the corner just watching people go by.
They walk by on a regular basis and dont even say hi.
I ask for a little change, not that much
Just enough to get through the day and maybe even have lunch
I need a place to stay and not even the homeless shelter can help
Only if someone cared and stopped to listen about how I felt
Im suffering on the inside and crying on the out
And not one soul cares what I'm about
I can't make it through the day because I can't make it on my own
Everyone one hears my cries but yet I'm still alone.
