Confessions of My Dreams

In my dreams I may hope
that you will miss the bliss, but nope.
troubles me when I try,
I will always start to cry.
its possible that when I fall,
you will merely call me doll.
if it weren't for the hopes and dreams,
I know that I would never gleam.
they said it'd be easy, oh so easy
but they don't know that I was queasy.
all they say is "who said what",
and all they see now is the cut.
the stove, the knife, they bring me blood, and my mood falls with a thud.
remembered being pushed against the wall,
now its time for curtain call.
every night and every morn, some to misery are born.
surely, doesn't make me content,
a truth thats told with bad intent,
cause' that will beat all lies you can invent.
I hope that when you trusted me,
you meant no harm to us indeed.
If it weren't for the hopes in dreams, I'd swear that I would burst and scream.
dear oh dear, when I tear
its not to blame, I want you near.
dreams are dreams and hopes are hopes
sail away my woeful guy
a single word to say
good bye
just leave me something to remember you by
