Be The Star You Are

While we sure an explanation for the pureness of creation.
Life shouldn't be played with, stop letting evil wreck creation/ recreation.
It's tightened it's grip on every station squeezing the life out of time we're wastin'.
Erasing the need for inspiration, instilling the greed for imitation.
As Americans, we idolize the dancing stars who lie and hide their branding scars.
Sleeves can't hide insecure pain, neither can tint on fancy cars.
Our plate is always full, but yet still we starve.
For dreams seen on the screen, 'cause it's hard understanding ours.
Haunted by love and it's loneliness, the heart is affected.
With irregular motions from the emotions when a connection is neglected.
So if being accepted, entails disrespected.
Then I'm fine how I am, how my father intended.
