Does he still feel love for me?
How could he forget so fast?
How could such sweet love not last?
Sometimes outlook cheats like lies
I have learned I can not believe my eyes
I may only trust the instincts of my heart
Cause now it is just you and me apart
Guess you did not knew how much it hurt
Free and faraway you are, just like a bird
Flying away like all the things we did share
Did you honestly just not care?
I remember when I see you
All the things we used to do
Now I cannot speak unless I cry
Nobody can tell you, but trying am I
I know you feel no longer need to see me
I have a need to say that I still love you

To light and shine upon your way,
So I will from afar shine on you my dear

I feel sorrow, and I think of you instead

A face, a smile, a person, I know that I love

Wow! I really love this poem! It is very creative and comes straight from the heart. I love the part about the bird and also the part about the sun. And I just LOVE the last line… everytime I read it gives me chills! Great please do keep posting
