If only I had the courage to say this to you
I never new love until I met you
We shared our hearts, minds, bodies, and souls
We shared a connection so deep
the angels above could not even grasp
People say that times heal the broken hearted
But I still dream of you
I still cry myself to sleep thinking of you
I still look out the window hoping to see your smiling face
Living on a promise of forever
I never thought something could hurt this bad
You hurt me in ways you promised you never would
Our baby girl is 6 months old now…
Sixth months since you’ve been gone
Sixth months since our baby was born
Sixth months since your hurt me the most
I remember lying on that cold hospital bed
Living on a promise of forever
Having our baby girl, I prayed so hard
That you would come, but you never did
I wish I knew why?
I wish I could understand
I never felt so scared
I never felt so alone
Remember when we said forever?
Well I guess forever is the new never
So I promise to Never and not always love you
Note: Yeah more of a story than poem. I was inspired by a letter I found on this website. Some of the lines are from this letter, most of it is my writting

Thats a very good poem my life is just like that but I still do not have my baby but the dad left me…it made me cry love it a lot

A broken heart heals As Time Go On. The baby help you to learn
about being together with him later or someone else.
