Darkness falls, my heart bleeds out

as the hours stall, i want to scream and shout.

my love for you is all that matters.

you dropped my heart.it falls and shatters.

my hope it failed .my dreams they lied.

the shallowness.the deep inside.

i woke one day, to nightmares true.

your love, i fear has left me too.

my first approach,my heart bleeds out.

was it a hoax?

i want to scream and shout.

my love for you is all that matters.

you dropped my heart.it falls and shatters.

i'm stuck in this paralysis.

help me with this emptiness.

the love i knew has passed me by.

this hate i found is by my side.

when we touch my heart bleeds out.

it's not enough.

i want to scream and shout.

i've lost my love. can it be found?

if you are there, please make a sound.

my time has come, my heart dies out.

it's time i die

In the movie Under a Tuscan Sun the main character says that a broken heart should kill you but it doesn't - for some reason you don't die (paraphrased). How true that is. Why doesn't it kill you?
