the beating of my life

you always understand

i rip my heart out and place it in your hands

your hands are cold

my heart grows colder

you take in my heart and press it to your shirt.

it was torn apart.

tell me why it doesn't hurt.

blood soaks your shirt

but you still keep it near

you've changed my heart.

why don't you give it here?

you seem to understand

i tore my heart out and placed it your hands

your hands are worn

my heart gets swollen

my heart is broken

you mend the pieces

make it better,

unfold the creases

you squeeze my heart, it slowly dies.

it came apart from deep inside

the beating of my life

slowly starts to change

i take back my heart and put it in a cage.

love and time passes by in many days

my heart is scorn in many ways

take the key and unlock the cage

hold it near and keep it safe

That is such a cute poem,,… I totally agree with Patz,,… But I didn't read it on the New Poems,,…

But that was really good,,… Keep writing:)
