Hi to everyone at Poems only.  I read with interest some of the many concerns about people stealing other peoples poems, or making money from them and claiming they wrote them.  I too, used to worry about that, but I don't anymore.  Firstly, I would be flattered to think that someone thought my poems were good enough to steal in the first place. Also, all of us who write our poems, come on guys, WE KNOW who they belong to don't we?  So I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.  Let me put it this way!  Think of your poem as a beautiful bird you have hatched in an incubator. (the incubator being your mind, ok?)  You have grown this poem from it's inception.  You may have prooned it and edited it along the way until you couldn't make it any better.  Then once you are truly satisfied it is in as good a shape as it could possibly be, you release it into the big wilde world and hope it gives pleasure to someone else. There's no point writing your poems and keeping them to yourself really, is there?  What's the point in having a secret if only you know about it?
