Message from the author: I wrote this poem earlier this year. It goes out to all my friends who may be far away from me or may have left my life to go on to another chapter of their’s… like in the song by Michael W. Smith… “Friends are friends forever if the Lord’s the Lord of them.” True friends will never leave your heart or heart’s memories.
